Altar Committee

The altar committee meets on the 1st Thusday of the month.  The committee is responsible for preparing communion, care of altar linens,communion vessels, banners and candles.  We make sure that the appropriate paraments are hung, as they indicate the various times of the church.  Each team of 2 is responsible for doing altar care for a month at a time, usually twice a year. The altar committee  generally works behind the scenes using their varied talents and doing general housekeeping to prepare the altar for worship.
